Sit down in a kneeling position, you can keep your knees together or apart, up to you, stretch the arms out in front of you. To try this pose, you’ll have to see how your knees are doing, if they’re sore, see if the pose is for you, back away if there’s any pain. If you’re into hot yoga, I’d avoid doing this pose when you’re tired, as having your head down that low in the heat may make you feel dizzy. This pose is one of the most common yoga poses, you can also use this pose whenever you’re tired in a yoga class and don’t want to do another downward facing dog. I’d always recommend when you’re very tired to try this pose (if the floor is clean), feel how it can be both soothing and energising too.
